Oakes Yard and Garden Design offers a variety of services to fit your needs and budget. You will meet with the owner and designer at the initial consultation. We will discuss what you currently have, what you like and dislike, and the ultimate vision you have for the space. Then, together we will create a strategy to achieve the desired results.
We work in Littleton, Lakewood, Englewood, Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Lone Tree, Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills Village and parts of Denver.
There is a $65 consultation fee for our initial visit.
New Plant Identification – Many homeowners who have moved to a new residence are curious as to what types of vegetation they have. We can come do a plant identification so you know what to keep and how to care for it, as well as if anything should be removed.
Consultation Services – Maybe you already have a great idea for your yard, and just have some questions regarding what will be best to use, what plants to plant or how to get started. We will come out and give an assessment and our recommendations so you are on the right track.
DIY – There are homeowners who love to do it themselves! A consultation with our experienced designer can get you the start you need to have a successful DIY project. We can provide information on products & materials, vegetation, the process and after-care. You can also choose to get a design, step by step instructions, a shopping list and more so there is no guessing. In the end, do it yourself is very rewarding and can save money.
Specialty Gardens – There are endless theme gardens that we can design! Have you always wanted a moongarden or to grow your own vegetables and herbs? Is your favorite color yellow and you only want yellow plants? Do you have a big event you are hosting this year and need knock-out annual pots? We can design anything you can imagine. Some specialties this summer include xeriscape options like rock gardens & crevice gardens, vegetable gardens themed for salsa or salads, Potager gardens, pollinator gardens, sensory gardens, native prairie plantings, Colorado native plants and more.
Curb Appeal – Are you selling your home and want to increase curb appeal? Oakes Yard and Garden Design can offer some quick fixes to help make your home stand out from the crowd.
